The Cognosante Charity Golf Tournament, benefiting Final Salute, Inc., was held on May 20, 2022, raising $37,000 to help provide homeless women Veterans and their children with safe and suitable housing.
“Cognosante has been a steadfast supporter of Final Salute for a number of years, and we truly appreciate their partnership,” said Brian Drummond, Final Salute Inc.’s Chairman of the Board and General Counsel. “Through its actions, Cognosante continues to show it understands the unique needs of Veterans, particularly the homeless women veterans served by our organization. The funds raised from this event will go a long way towards making a positive and significant impact on a Veteran population which is often underserved.”
Jas Boothe, Final Salute’s President and Founder added, “although we are facing unprecedented times when many businesses and non-profits are struggling simultaneously, Cognosante continues to dig deep and ensure that no woman Veteran or child are left behind.”
Over the years, Cognosante has participated in numerous fundraising efforts benefiting Final Salute. The Cognosante Foundation is committed to helping those who have served and continue to serve, and firmly believes that the word “homeless” should never be associated with any Veteran.
