Established HHS Business Development Executive joins Cognosante

MCLEAN, VA. – September 28, 2015 – Cognosante has announced the hiring of Dawn Cooley as Business Development Director of its Health Consulting Services (HCS) business unit. Dawn, who has more than 25 years of healthcare program and project management experience, will focus on further developing the Health and Human Services (HHS) Consulting Practice launched by Cognosante earlier this year.

Dawn, who served as the administrator for the Ohio Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) from 1992-1996, brings more than 20 years’ experience in business development and project management to Cognosante. She has specialized in optimizing project delivery for WIC, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Unemployment Insurance, and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families at companies including Xerox and CSC. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree from Texas A&M University.
