MCLEAN, VA. – September 21, 2015 – Cognosante announced it has been awarded a contract with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) to help develop its Wisconsin Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), Fiscal Agent Request for Proposal (RFP) and Enterprise Data Architecture Management Strategy Assessment Project. Cognosante has previous experience working with DHS in 2009, Cognosante was awarded a contract to support DHS’s Medicaid Information Technology Architecture State Self-Assessment Project. DHS administers the state’s medical assistance programs for Wisconsin’s most vulnerable citizens.

The contract began August 1, 2015, and will end November 30, 2017; it is intended to aid DHS in meeting current and future Medicaid enterprise business needs.
