On Thursday, March 14, 2019, Cognosante participated in The She-Suite Summit, a day of networking and mentorship designed to help women build their personal leadership brands and advance their careers.
Each year, women from across the nation come together for this event to share solutions, develop new skills, and gain insights from influential women leaders. Attendees automatically gain membership to The She-Suite Community to continue relationship-building and learning throughout the year.
Close to 300 women leaders were in attendance this year from companies including Allstate, Boston Scientific, General Dynamics, Pentagon Federal Credit Union, Procter and Gamble, and Society for Human Resource Management.
Cognosante Chief People Officer Jennifer Bailey joined a panel discussion on “Work + Wealth: Making Money Work for You to Get What You’re Worth,” highlighting how time is money and the value of knowing your net worth. Cognosante women leaders also in attendance were Anita Griner, Jennifer Bond, Sara Sami, Kelly Grigg, and Kim Schoenauer.
The She-Suite Summit’s 2019 theme centered around influencing women to be bold, branded, and balanced. Topics covered included the path to success, being a champion for change, leadership lifestyles, total wellness, and work/life balance.
Additionally, Cognosante sponsored the attendance of ShiftForward Consulting President Cherrie L. Davis, a female Veteran entrepreneur. “It was one of the most powerful events I have been to. I walked away with so much insight. Cognosante’s commitment to Veterans is a big part of their DNA,” said Davis.
Cognosante’s attendance at this event occurred in connection with a partnership through the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and Velvet Suite, Inc. This partnership coincides with the mission of the Cognosante Foundation, which is to help under-resourced Veterans build meaningful lives and achieve financial independence.
Game-changing. Relentless. Passionate. Cognosante produces powerful results for our customers and the communities they serve.
