Aleena Qamar is a Leesburg native and recent graduate of George Mason University. During her time at GMU, she majored in Information Systems and Operations Management.
She chose to spend her summer with Cognosante because she believes it is a very innovative company in the healthcare field, and it serves a good cause. This summer, she is helping in the data science department. Right now, she is working on analyzing call center transcriptions to improve customer satisfaction. As a summer business analyst, she hopes to better herself in coding and get a better understanding of data science as a whole.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with family, watching Netflix, and painting.
What’s something that not a lot of people know about you?
“A lot of people don’t know that I’m trilingual. My first language was Urdu, which is from Pakistan, and then Punjabi which is from the region I’m from in Pakistan.”
