What are your hobbies/interests/passions? I love running and hiking and wish I had the time to go on more multiple-day hiking/camping trips. I also enjoy calisthenics; I’m currently working on human flag/planche. I also enjoy killing time with music, video games, and movies.
What is a fun fact about yourself? I was the third fastest seventh-grade mile runner in the nation at some point (4:57 personal record), but it all went downhill from there.
What department are you interning with? Pricing
Briefly describe what you will be doing: Competitive analysis/research, price-to-win analysis, forecasting, generating reports/narratives, helping to put together/refine a database of historical information, etc.
What drew you to this position at Cognosante? Cognosante is a high-revenue, rapidly growing company involved in an industry of increasingly high importance to the future of the nation. Additionally, the position itself involves a process that has a very strong market and is one that I’m not familiar with. I’m always open to learning about how different businesses operate and run, learning about how to use different technologies, and developing my analytical skills, so it seemed like a good fit.
What are you most excited to learn this summer? I’m most excited to develop my model building skills, conduct market research, hone my ability to convince/report my findings to others, and to meet new people and connect with possible future mentors.
