Cloud Computing
We deliver cloud services by leveraging our Cognosante Cloud Foundations™ framework, comprised of Cloud Govern, Cloud Migrate, Cloud Evolve, Cloud Develop, and Cloud Operate. Our holistic approach is predicated on our experience with high scalability through supporting two of the largest Federal agencies in their cloud journeys. Our low-risk approach is scalable with an eye toward innovation, purposefully aligned with customer strategic goals, constraints, and need for securing data in the Cloud. We work with our partners, Amazon, Google, and Microsoft to align our investments in cloud innovation with their roadmap, ensuring that we maximize our customers’ investment in cloud infrastructure.

Application Services
Our application solutions leverage modern web frameworks, mobile technology, traditional architectures, and modern serverless architectures. We develop, deploy, and sustain software using best Agile and SAFe® principles, ensuring efficient delivery of packaged solutions with predictable cadence and extremely high quality. Our solutions connect with commercial off-the-shelf platform implementations such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Tableau, and InterSystems HealthShare, tailored for our customers’ unique and evolving requirements. Further, we develop solutions from the ground up, delivering human-centered design and mobile user experiences that are fully integrated across existing systems with maximum scalability, elasticity, flexibility, and security.

Enterprise Infrastructure
We successfully provide cost-efficient, reliable, scalable, user-friendly, and results-driven infrastructure services that directly enable our clients’ objectives. From data center management and network operations to certified service desk program implementation and support, we act as the public face for the IT departments of the U.S. Department of Energy, Department of Labor, Department of Commerce, Navy, and Air Force.

Cybersecurity
We are currently protecting the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and the Intelligence community networks from cybersecurity threats, including insider threats, malicious software, viruses, advanced persistent threats from nation-states, as well as hackers and cybercriminals. We deploy network and cloud security, information assurance and security, enterprise application security, and secure coding experts around the world to use the latest tools for penetration testing, continuous network and application monitoring, analysis of millions of application, operating system, and network logs, and other advanced techniques. We provide compliance with security requirements, and follow National Institute of Standards and Technology, Defense Information Systems Agency, FedRAMP, and industry standards and best practices.

Service Desk
Our Cognosante Enterprise Centralized Service Desk (ECSD) is operated on a hospitality-based blended quality model—centered on building a quality service support culture that results in exceptional user experiences. The Cognosante ECSD provides 24/7/365 shared services for multiple customers as well as dedicated support services when needed. The ECSD uses the latest innovations within IT Service Management, focusing on ISO 20000-built and trained processes that ensure services are delivered to the customer with quality.

All service desk personnel have training from HDI, the Disney Institute, and ITIL, as well as any relevant special training based on our customer’s technology that we support.

Identity Management
We support several Federal customers in support of authentication and authorization to systems, as well as broader biometrics strategies. We gather, manage, administer, report, and continually enhance the role of biometrics and other identity markers for users of the systems we develop.

Business-Process Automation and Robotic Process Automation
Because we are so uniquely balanced between business process operations and modern technology innovation, we continually develop process automations to optimize program performance. Our blended and balanced experience ensures that we tailor solutions to specific business challenges in which we share our expertise with our customers. Automation enables us to focus on the most valuable activities in support of our customers, continually reduce unnecessary costs, deliver more efficiently for end users, and provide 100 percent consistency for activities where nuanced human judgement is not required. This approach to RPA complements our methodologies that are validated across external maturity models such as Capability Maturity Model Integration, ISO, and HITRUST, allowing us to deliver more value, continually improve our methodologies, and exceed customer SLA commitments.
